• Normal and cooler-than-normal weather is projected for all but the West for the period May 18th - May 24th. NOAA's Seasonal Outlook for July to September projects warmer-than-normal temperatures for all but a portion of the Central states.
  • 78 Bcf were injected into storage during the week ending May 5th. The injection was 9 Bcf lower than the five-year average and roughly equal to expectations. While this is the second week in a row that injections have been lower than the five-year average, the moderate weather being projected is creating expectations of larger injections in the coming weeks.
  • While the natural gas basis is down on a week-over-week basis as LNG prices remain weak, in the last two days the basis has been increasing.
