- The cooler weather for the Northern states dropped the 12-month NYMEX $0.10/MMBtu this past week. This, coupled with the weak demand from Europe has kept LNG prices under $10/MMBtu. As a result, the 12-month natural gas basis fell $0.36/MMBtu.
- Today's storage announcement of 14 Bcf, which is 23 Bcf lower than the five-year average and 5 Bcf lower than market expectations, will likely be brushed off as the cool weather cuts into cooling demand.
- Crude oil price showed a gain this past week of roughly $0.79/bbl.
