About this Solicitation
PowerOptions is developing a program to deploy battery energy storage and demand flexibility across our membership, operated for bill savings and grid services revenue, and configurable for site backup. The scope spans storage both behind and in front of the meter, enrollment and dispatch of Member load with or without storage on site, and the coordination of assets already installed through other PowerOptions programs, including solar, electric vehicle charging, heat pumps, and smart thermostats. Qualified providers are invited to request the full RFI document and submit a response in accordance with its instructions.

How to Respond
The RFI will be distributed directly to PowerOptions' qualified vendor list on October 5, 2026. Providers not on that list are invited to request a copy by filling out the form or contacting PowerOptions at gridservices@poweroptions.org.
Questions or clarifications should be sent to the same address; answers relevant to all recipients will be shared with all recipients. Responses must be received no later than 5:00 PM ET on October 26, 2026, at the above address. Please format the email subject line as "Company Name - Grid Services RFI". Responses are used for informational purposes and will not affect consideration in any future PowerOptions solicitation.
